This past weekend, I participated in a rather slow vendor event. Sales were minimal and the weather left much to be desired! I met a very nice man and his wife, probably in their 50’s. He was looking for a gift for his 87 year old mother. So, I gave Steve a call today, after purchasing a beautiful Origami Owl Living Locket and charms; I called just to say THANK YOU! I could hear the smile I gave him because I told him I appreciated his business. How often do you get a call from someone you purchase from, just to say THANK YOU? I bet rarely if ever. Guess what? He’s going to remember me and he will tell others about his experience…this is what direct sales is all about. Servicing your customer and building a relationship.
